Ann Turpin is a professional musician, with degrees in Organ Performance from DePauw University and Union Theological Seminary School of Sacred Music. She has performed organ recitals from New York City to Tucson, Arizona and many places in between. Ann has also been a Choral Director in churches and with community choruses, as well. She directed the Queen Anne's Chorale from 1991-1999, founded the Chesapeake Youth Chorale and was its conductor from 1999-2007, and was Artistic Director of the Chester River Chorale from 2002-2010. Mrs. Turpin has been organist/director at several churches on the Eastern Shore. She is now retired. She served on the board of the Queen Anne's County Arts Council for two terms, and also on the Maryland State Arts Council Grants Committee for two terms.
